Small World Connections will send teams to Haiti

Our Go Team Director - David Headley has served with Samaritan's Purse and other relief organizations as a team leader and will be asked soon to organize teams to help with rebuilding efforts in Haiti after the terrible earthquakes.

These trips cannot be organized until teams are cleared and invited to go by the national organizations. 

We anticipate the cost of these one week trips to be between $500 and $600.  Until they are ready for these teams, there are a few things you can do now to prepare:

• E-mail us at info@smallworldconnect.org to be put on an update mailing list - when you write please include your mailing address so that we can send you a team application and begin that process now.  We will then contact you directly as soon as we get the green light.
• Be sure to have your passport ready.  If you already have a passport, check to make sure it is current and not about to expire.  If you do not have a passport begin that process as soon as possible.
• Begin to set aside your own funds for these trips or ask others to sponsor you - this will allow all team memebers to quickly transition into the trip without delaying due to funding.
• Pray and seek God for wisdom and guidance in this and other opportunities to help the people of Haiti and others in need around the world.
• Many people want to help, but do not know how to get involved.  Tell others about this opportunity to be part of teams lead by an experienced disaster relief  leader.  When it is safe to go, this will be a very practical way for people to help.
