God has continued to move us in new directions and build old relationships. Here are five connections that are both praise items and prayer requests.

 

 Some of the groups receiving funds from May.   You can also see two young ladies who caught the vision and ran a lemonade stand on the day of our celebration.

 East Africa/Illinois Connection - We have stepped into a new ministry arena and helped what we call a Go Team Leader from another culture serve a local ministry. Up to this point we have focused on folks from the States going and serving in other cultures so this is new for us. This month we have connected with an old friend from East Africa who is now serving our local youth center and Helping Hands Re-Sale for at least a month. I do not have the ability to put into words what this friend and this concept mean to us personally and to our ministry. Please pray that all the pieces needed to continue this effort will be put into place.

1. Kenya Connection - June 19- August 15th - Amy Back, Ashley Back and Rachel Echelbarger will be serving in Nairobi,  Kenya with ministries working with inner city street kids. Please pray for safety and opportunities to share the love of Christ in a very diffucult situation. Pray for strong relationships and Kingdom impact.
2. India Connection - October 12-23 - We are sending a small team to work with Delhi Bible Institute. This team of pastors and ministry leaders will be working on training and looking into areas for future teams to target. There is still room for more church leaders to be part of this team.
3. Uganda Connection - November 4 -13 - Our continued relationship with Juna Amagara (amagara.org) is a highlight for our ministry and we are looking forward to sending a team in November to work in the medical clinic there and to expand into new areas of evangelism.
4. Helping Hands Connection - We celebrated our one year mark with Helping Hands Re-Sale and seen God use the shop to provide over $45,000 to local and international charities.  Our daughter Ava and her friend McKenzie raised an addtional $41 that day for the charities.

Grow Our World, Mike and Natalie
